One day someone asked an artist to paint their picture. The artist agreed mostly in jest...after-all who would want a painting of themself ? After eight months or so of repeated asking the painting was finally started..then 12 hours later... completed and titled "Behind the smiles". Before you ask an artist to paint your picture, ask yourself these questions as to why?. Do I want this done because, my friend is an artist and needs something to paint ? or , Do I want this done because, I think it would make a good gift for a loved one ? or Do I want this done because, I am a narcissist bent on self-glorification...much like what dictators do? Whatever your reason, all one has to do is look "Behind the smiles" to see ones true nature
